Our firm was founded in 1980 as a sole proprietorship and later became incorporated. In 1999, the opportunity to join forces gave rise to Rust Morrison Walijarvi Architects.

Rust Morrison Walijarvi Architects is a full service architecture, interior design, and construction services firm with expertise in design, construction documentation, and construction observation. Our staff's diverse background in architecture adds to our ability in assessing and solving client needs, establishing approximate budgets, and maintaining time schedules.

Rust Morrison Walijarvi has been recognized for outstanding work in many different areas. This includes receiving the Honor Award from the Minnesota Society American Institute of Architects in 1992 for the creation of the Saint Paul Winter Carnival Ice Palace. In 2000, the firm was a finalist for the Minnesota American Business Ethics Award, given by The Society of Financial Service Professionals.
